I have been inspired to post this after a friend did one. (Thanks Diana) We went out to take some pictures of the kids this weekend, it didn't go well and everyone complained, so we kinda switched gears. We just let the kids play in an empty feild and took some pics as we went. (I'll post the pics when I get back home from the kids awards day) I remember there being stress as we worked to get the kids just right for the pics. I rememeber telling Adam we needed to be done, and just go with it. After that I remember fun and love. It was hot and humid so the kids were all sweaty and red.(makes the best pics!!) They would roll down the hill and pick flowers. Walk in poison ivy lol (adam is horibly alergic, but it seems that no one else is)

At one point Alex was sitting on the ground with his legs in front of him. Ethan walked up and sat between his legs looking at him. They just hugged, a grinned and talked for a couple minutes which is HUGE for them both to hold still like that.
Another time the girls were off picking flowers together, it was like an old painting.

Donna was on the ground on her tummy and her legs were bent at the knee with her feet in the air. Ethan ran up to sit on her back and give her a big hug.

Somedays with all the fighting and annoying (a big word in our home by the kids) it is hard to remember the special love they do have for eachother. However, it is always there... you just have to dig a bit deeper sometimes.
