Fall Pictures

We had one grumpy group of kids! lol

We ended up with lots of great shots of Donna, one great shot of Alex, one good shot of Chloe, and one ok shot of Ethan. lol The one of Ethna would have been good if the camera had worked. :(
Here they are.

I love this last one. It kinda sums it all up. "I don't want my picture taken!!!" While DOnna is trying not to laugh.... ahhh the life with 4 kids, you can never have them all happy and smiling at the same time.

Ethan's Party!

We had his party at the lake. It was a beautiful day!!!

Play time!

Craft time!!

Cake time!!

Homecoming Parade!

Donna was chosen to be one of 2 kids in her class to be on the float this year. It is a huge honor to be asked to be on it! This is the first time one of my kids has been in a parade without me at least walking along beside.

The boys watching

Chloe watching. I love her hair blowing in the wind.

Oh, and we have a tradition, kinda an unspoken one. Little girls wear their hair in pigtails for this celebration. Even if they NEVER do any other time. I was getting th egirls ready and Adam couldn't figure out whey I said they HAD to be in pigtails today. haha (I did notice that most of the girls around Donna din't have them, but they are still young yet. :D

Ethan's Tractor

My parents got Ethan a riding tractor for his birthday. He loves it and has to talk to it every day. ("Hi tractoo, I hove you!" "I be back trctoo, miss you!"

Happy Birthday Big Boy!!

We have a tradition of going to DQ on the kids birthdays. This year we didn't know when we would get to have Ethan's party, so we had or own little party there.

The bag is singing to me...

Wow, I have never seen so many trucks!!

We bought a cake, thinking it would be cheaper, however they have to be thawed. So we ordered and they sat it out. However they got behind and by the time they got our food to us, they had to put it back in the freezer... however they never told us that. So as we finish eating and gifts thinking it really should have been out long before that, they come and ask if they should take it back out now.... ok, change of plans. Dilly bars for the kids and the cake goes home for later.

Ethan's Big Day!!! He is 2!!!!

His hair has been long for months, but we wanted to get his hair cut on his birthday, I'm glad we did. He grew up so fast!!! (Sorry some of the shots aren't the best. Ethan dropped... ok tossed our camera at Field day and it hasn't been the same after)

Before starting

This stuff is my hair... not sure if that is cool or really scary... I think it is kinda cool...

Reflection in the mirror.

He is pointing to his hair saying "got candy for hair"

All done, can I just play now mom???

He is so grown up!!! He had a totaly different boy as soon as he got out of the chair. Sooo much additude! hehe

Ethan and our new kitty.

So Ethan LOVES our new cat. He keeps picking her up and wants to carry her all the time. She as a result spends alot of time mewing to be let go. We have been working on getting him to be gentle with her and tonight he picked her up so slow and careful it was just precious. We have been a bit worried that she would not like him due to him yanking her around, then tossing her on the floor when he is done. Anyway, he keeps trying to sleep on the floor the last week (started the day after we got her) and we keep putting him back in bed. This happens a few times a night. Tonight he asked me "seep on floor mommy? pease?" how do you say no to that??? so I told him he could, thinking I would put him back in bed once he fell asleep. This is what I found when I went to put him in bed.

I guess we know why he wants to sleep on the floor, and we know she does love him as well. Also, I now understand why she is no longer sleeping with me. :)
